Change Management/Organisational Design Specialist

Contract type: 3-year fixed term

Job Purpose:

 The purpose of this role is to develop and implement change management strategies, frameworks, and tools that maximise employee adoption and usage of required changes. These responsibilities also include plans and efforts to anticipate and minimize resistant behaviours from employees and stakeholders who are impacted by the changes enabling CIPC to achieve organisational effectiveness.

Required Minimum Education/training:

  • Relevant Diploma/Degree in Human Resources/ Industrial Psychology/  Organizational  Development.
  • Certified Change Management Professional
  •  Experience in application of Change management theories and practice.

Required Minimum Experience:

  •  3 to 5 years of work experience in Change Management/ Organizational Design
  • Experience with Organisational Design and organisational management frameworks, principles, processes.
  • Experience with facilitating workshops.
  • Experience on PEROMNES grading system.

Key performance areas:

  • Develops Change Management plans (e.g. stakeholders’ management, training, coaching, communications and resistance management).
  • Assesses the change impact and readiness for change initiative, identifying key barriers.
  • Promotes the need for and benefits of Change Management as part of the change initiative.
  • Manages the impact of the change initiative at business until level.
  • Provide Org Design guidance and advice divisional HR Management as and when required
  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • Manage equitable job design which includes management of job analysis, job description and job design processes.
  • Develop organizational design principles to ensure correct grading of all positions across the company.
  • Investigate, analyse and develop organisational design best practices, and ensure adherence to an operational framework of policies and procedures.
  • Support and guide line managers in developing and updating job descriptions.
  • Conduct and facilitate all departmental organisational structure interventions.
  • Facilitate the creation and abolishing of posts and job design processes.
  • Arrange for and conduct awareness sessions and workshops regarding development, review and maintenance of JDs.
  • Maintain the approved organisational structure records and database.
  • Identify and prioritise posts to be evaluated.
