Position: Driver Messenger

Department:   Office of the Executive Mayor
Division: Internal Support
Salary: R183 648 – R251 928 per annum (plus benefits)

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver and collect mail or goods, adhere to requirements regarding driving specifications and rules and perform administrative duties as required
• Perform specific tasks associated with the delivery and collection of items to/and from external sources to ensure that goods are delivered timeously
• Check the vehicle condition and complete the checklist prior to departure and/or report defects to the immediate superior
• Be part of a culture that treats people well, builds relationships and keeps customers happy

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 10
• A valid Code B driver’s license with PrDP
