What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:

  • Educator must have a teaching preschool teaching qualifications. e.g ECD, diploma/ degree. 
  • Minimum 3 years experience in teaching Preschool learners.
  • Must be registered with SACE and have a valid SACE certificate.
  • IEB experience.
  • A clear criminal record.

Responsibilities are:

  • To plan, control, record and report on Assessments.
  • To attend meetings, forums, workshops for the grade/ phase as required.
  • To be responsible for any and all school equipment and stock in the control of the teacher and class.
  • To work closely with the teachers in the Grades to ensure the effective running of the Grades.
  • To manage, plan, assist and promote teaching and learning within the class.
  • To manage, plan, assist and promote activities (sport and culture) within the School.
  • To manage, plan, assist and promote discipline within the Grades.
  • Ability to coach or manage a sport or other extra-curricular activity an advantage.
  • A willingness to contribute to the values and ethos of the School.

  • Have a relevant degree for the post.
  • Have an interest, knowledge, and experience in using modern teaching methodology in a technology-rich environment.

  • Be a self-starter with an excellent work ethic. 

The successful person will lead Curriculum leaders in all Curro Pre-Schools and all Primary Schools

Their focus will be to: 

  • Implement and set all Curro Preschools and all Curro Primary Schools Curriculum approaches and plans.
  • Operationalise the curriculum delivery model in all Curro Preschools and all Curro Primary Schools.
  • Ensure Curriculum rollout in all Curro Preschools and all Curro Primary Schools
  • Manage the Academic and Curriculum quality in all Curro Preschools and all Curro Primary Schools.
  • Manage and review the assessment and exam processes of all Curro Preschools and all Curro Primary Schools.
  • Report on and analyse the curriculum of all Curro Preschools and all Curro Primary Schools
  • Manage Training of the Curriculum in all Curro Preschools and all Curro Primary Schools
  • Manage Stakeholders of all Curro Preschools and all Curro Primary Schools.
  • Ensure sound financial management
  • Manage staff and ensure relevant compliance
