Job PurposeManages the key performance areas associated with the provision of a comprehensive End User Support service by determining the adequacy of current processes and procedures to support business information processing.
This post reports to DEPUTY HEAD (CUSTOMER SERVICES)
Key Responsibility Areas• Defines and aligns the immediate and short- and medium-term objective/plans associated with the End User Support Branch through participation with the strategic planning team.
• Manages outcomes associated with acquisition, utilisation, productivity, performance, retention and reward of personnel within the branch.
• Prepares capital and operating budgets for approval and controls expenditure against the approved budget allocations.
• Manages processes associated with the review and/or formulation of draft policy frameworks and implementation of specific functional procedures, systems and controls.
• Manages and controls the procedures, systems and applications associated with the provision of End User Support Services which includes the desktop and service Desk functional areas.
• Providing strategic focus and enterprise view of project. Undertakes projects support special requirements, developments, and changes that are imperative due to changing corporate parameters.
• Manages quality of service and performance standard of suppliers and initiates new relationships with specific suppliers.
• Manages specific administrative and reporting requirements associated with the key performance and result indicators of the functionality.

Essential Requirements• Diploma (NQF Level 6) in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 6 Years relevant experience.
Preferred Requirements• Degree (NQF Level 7) in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field.
• 7 Years relevant experience.
