RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cost Controller: Aircraft Fleet Management

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure all administrative data is kept up to date throughout the contractual periods;
  • Assist with information specific to contractual terms and conditions relating to asset leases during the lease term;
  • Calculate the maintenance provision of the leases are correctly applied and recorded;
  • Ensure all available reserve funding, warranties and credits are managed and claimed;
  • Monitor that the various MRO/AMO/CAMO functions are correctly applied to the specifics of the lease based on the guidance from the Senior Asset Protection Administrator;
  • Check that all operation requested changes made, are in line with the contract recorded and Lessor agreed;

Contract and Procurement Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the procurement process from initiation to completion of payment;

MCC Coordinator (Avionics)

Responsibilities:

  • Approving, Controlling, monitoring, tracking of all non-routine and deferred maintenance activities (MEL, CDL etc.) to enable the aircraft to operate within the approved legal limits;
  • Update the Computer based Tracking Platform, Smart Sheet;
  • Support line personnel in trouble shooting for all maintenance defects/ MEL deferment;
  • Communication focal point between crew and engineers on all related defects, and also between aircraft and management for status reports required;
  • Track aircraft, follow up on daily status reports, and maintenance actions completed on the specific aircraft;
  • Coordinate the swapping of aircraft for technical reasons, and their towing to and from Hangers for maintenance;
  • Do the daily a/c scheduling first thing in the morning for the following day and pass on to Ops;

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all daily operations related to compensation and benefits activities;

Senior Asset Protection Administrator

Safair Operations, operating as FlySafair has a vacancy for a Senior Asset Protection Administrator at our head office in Bonaero Park.  The successful applicant will report to the Senior Manager: Aircraft Fleet Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor that leased in aircraft/engines meet contract and redelivery requirements;
  • Ensure all administrative data is kept up to date throughout the contractual periods;
  • Ensure the specific contractual terms and conditions relating to engine and airframe leases are met during the lease term to reduce risk at redelivery;
  • Review the maintenance provision of the leases are correctly applied and recorded;
  • Ensure all available reserve funding, warranties and credits are managed and claimed;
  • Monitor that the various MRO/AMO/CAMO functions are correctly applied to the specifics of the lease;
  • Coordinate all operation requested changes made, are in line with the contract recorded and Lessor agreed;
  • Ensure any operational limitations in the lease are visible to the operations department and managed and enforced;
  • Drive the complete and accurate month end reporting to the lessor for billing purposes;
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure compliance is maintained by developing systemic controls;
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Asset Management and other support functions;
  • Build and maintain relationships with external vendors;
  • Support the building of positive team relationships;
  • Supervise the team to ensure timeliness and accuracy of the work.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12;
  • Minimum of 10 Years’ experience in a Maintenance Planning or Technical role in Aviation, of which, 5 years must be in a Supervisory/Senior role;
  • Must have a background in aircraft records, aviation regulation, and aviation quality standards and aircraft lease/engine contract administration;
  • Relevant Aviation courses i.e. Maintenance Planning (Advantageous);
  • Sound understanding of Aviation business;
