About the Role
The Configuration Analyst role involves a combination of configuration and development tasks on the Salesforce platform. The individual will be responsible for configuring Salesforce to meet business requirements and developing custom solutions using Salesforce’s proprietary languages, APEX for back-end and LWC for front-end components.

About the role:
Capitec is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our Business Bank team as a Dealer: Forex. In this role, you will be responsible for managing currency exposures and fostering strong relationships with both internal and external clients in the Forex space. We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years of forex trading experience in a dealing room environment whether in banking, insurance, or corporate sectors who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance driven setting. A relevant tertiary qualification in Banking or Finance is essential, along with strong analytical, decision-making and relationship management skills. What We Are Looking For
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in Data Modelling, with a solid understanding of data structures, relationships, and best practices.
- An additional 2 to 3 years of experience in a related data role, such as Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or Business Intelligence Analyst, demonstrating a strong foundation in data analysis, transformation, and reporting.
- Exposure to data modeling principles, including concepts like star schema, snowflake models, and normalized vs. denormalized data structures.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational database fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Python for data-related tasks.
Nice to Have / Preferred:
- Exposure to semantic modeling tools such as dbt, AtScale, or similar platforms.
