The role:

 The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the timely installation, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment to ensure their safe and correct use.

 
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Interprets and coordinate pre-work with regards to repairs planned and predictive maintenance
  • Accesses any area safety to perform necessary maintenance on machines or equipment
  • Performs safety inspections of equipment and assesses risks on equipment
  • Maintains a clean and safe worksite
  • Ensure the upkeep of maintenance tools and equipment
  • Coordinates activities associated with troubleshooting and repairing maintenance equipment
  • Perform hands on maintenance support during breakdowns and shutdowns
  • Perform standby duties and training of personnel, when required

Requirements:

  • Recognized Electrical Trade Test Certificate

        Internal Candidates

  • Grade 12 with Math (Not Literacy) & Science, minimum E symbol with relevant two N2 Trade related subjects as per MQA guideline or N2 with four relevant trade related subjects as per MQA guideline

       External Candidates

  • Grade 12 with Math (Not Literacy) & Science, minimum E symbol with four N2 relevant trade related subjects as per MQA guideline
  • Have sound knowledge of MHSA, safety systems and a high regard for safety, regulations and standards
  • Gas Testing
  • Flame proofing
  • Proven excellent safety record
  • Display good understanding of equipment & tools and uses thereof
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English
  • Be able to cope effectively with pressure in a production environment, be innovative and a self-starter
  • Be able to work in a team
  • Be able to identify faults and repair defects without supervision
  • Valid Code EB driver’s license
  • In possession or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness

Advantageous:

  • A minimum of 2 Years’ experience as a qualified Electrician in a Technical Services environment

  • Flameproofing Certificate
  • Operation of Medium Voltage Switchgear and Distribution Networks Certificate

The role:

The purpose of this role is to execute financial management reporting and planning, support budget management and tracking, conduct financial planning analysis and budgeting whilst operating as the business partner to the operations and functions embedding financial discipline and providing sound financial management advice.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the preparation of Management Reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Responsible for managing the forecasts and budgets for the mine functions.
  • Execute budgeting and forecasting process, including budget submissions.
  • Maintain accurate costing model for business.
  • Track and report cost and productivity initiatives.
  • Continuously track and report operational financial performance.
  • Perform analysis to ensure that all commercial decisions consider value, risk, cost and opportunity (cost, margin, EBIT, FCF)
  • Perform financial analysis including variance analysis, scenario and option analysis.
  • Execute cost accounting processes timely and effectively, ensuring operational discipline and strict adherence to internal accounting guidelines and controls.
  • Execute month end costing activities.
  • Finalise results of operational performance and report to management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Finance
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance related field
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Understanding of accounting policies, ERP systems, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cost control
  • Good analytical skills
  • Competent in Finance Reporting Standards
  • Have knowledge of safety regulations, company policies and procedures
  • Valid driver’s license

The role:

The purpose of this role is to coordinate, manage and execute financial accounting and reporting processes including period end closes, statistical and statutory reporting, transactional accounting, internal and external audit, and preparation of Annual Financial Statement.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Accountability for the execution of Business level financial reporting processes
  • Facilitating the development of budgets and managing the monthly forecasts
  • Knowledge of management systems like SAP, SharePoint, PowerBI, HSEC Online and Isometrix
  • Oversees the creation, interpretation and implementation of financial accounting policies
  • Manages the preparation and submission of Annual Financial Statements in compliance with applicable financial reporting standards

  • Coordinates governance related activities including governance reviews and internal and external audits

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Finance
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a finance related field with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity
  • Sound understanding of accounting policies, ERP systems, risk management, governance, budgeting & forecasting, reporting and cost control
  • Experienced in budgeting, forecasting and reporting – mining industry experience is preferred

The role:

To support the Business in assessing and managing shareholder and stakeholder value to be derived from our operations through the collaboration of key operational data, marketing assumption and macro-economic inputs.  Consolidates of ideas/project ideas into a portfolio of capital, business development and sustaining projects.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Interpolate the impact of the strategic business plan as well as the marketing plan and ensure the required impacts are analysed and responded to in line with the assigned operations plans
  • Interface with operational business units and functional leads on project work, Resource and Development Plans and Life of Mine (LoM) Plans and give inputs into the Seriti Group Summary model, working closely with finance for the preparation and running of operational cost models through cost accounting methods and models
  • Integration of the short-term plan for each of the mines and how they compare to one another e.g., this role will perform the analysis of the various costs and product impacts and thereafter suggest amendments to the plan for value optimization
  • Assist in developing long term plans for each operation incorporating mine and processing, functional and infrastructure plans
  • Conducting business evaluation advice that follow the business internal policy, standards, and practices
  • Analyse the monthly spend against the approved capital plan for the assigned operations, identifying trends, investigate variances and identifying and clearly articulate risks and opportunities
  • Responsible to review and collate all capital inputs in terms of the planning cycles for assigned area of responsibility and submit for group consideration
  • Performs adhoc scenario modelling to test equipment purchases, closures of operations, up or down scaling of the specific operation
  • Support to marketing in terms of scenario testing of different product option
  • Participates in the development of closure plans or the operations both LoM & Mine provisions
  • Produces closure planning inputs in terms of cost modelling of rehabilitation activities
  • Prepare presentation materials and reports in support of Planning Cycle requirements, Investment Cases, Capital Plan & Business Plan
  • Drive the Seriti Way, values and behavioural competencies through empowered leadership and active culture custodianship and participate in the strategic direction of the business

Requirements:

  • Degree or National Diploma in Business / Commerce / Finance / Engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years Mining or Manufacturing Industry experience of which 1 year should be in a supervisory position
  • Sound knowledge of applicable Finance policies and procedures
  • Thorough understanding of all Legislation regulating and procedures
  • Strong customer service orientation with ability to engage and influence a broad customer base
  • Relevant influencing, networking, planning, organising, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced MS Office Excel & PowerPoint
  • Excellent computer literacy skills (MS Office)
  • SAP experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • In possession or able to obtain a valid Certificate of Fitness
