  1. Conduct industry and policy research that support the development, review and alignment of the organisation’s strategy by advising the Head, SCX on relevant internal and external factors that could impact on the operations.

  1. Develop and execute the acquiring product strategy in alignment with the Bank’s digital and payments strategy.
  2. Drive acquisition of new merchants across key segments (SMEs, corporates, government, and informal sector), including POS, e-commerce, QR, and digital payment solutions.
  3. Manage and optimise the performance of the acquiring portfolio, including transaction volumes, revenues, and merchant activity levels.
