Sales Representative – Ladysmith Bakery

Responsibilities

Job Overview:Sales Representative within Traditional Trade channel. One person route van Sales. Reporting into Frontline Sales Lead Ladysmith & Vryheid.

  • Achievement of revenue and volume target as per Annual Operating Plan
  • Achievement of 100% customer call rate
  • Achieve 90% strike rate
  • Maintain 0.5% stales threshold rate
  • Obtain new business as per Annual Operating Plan

Accountant (Temporary) – Cape Town HQ

Responsibilities

The AP Accountant is the analytical & reporting backbone of the Accounts Payable Team across South Africa Business Units

Reporting includes but not limited to:

  • Support Accounts payable reporting:
    • Execute AP related reports to support AP function
    • Assist with certain quarterly reporting (sector)
    • Monthly AP BU reporting
    • Any variances in balances explained to Business Partners (Directors)
    • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting to the Control Shared Services Business Partners

Internal Control Support to AP function, includes but not limited to – Execution and certification:

  • CSA, GCS and SOX Controls
  • GRC request facilitation

Qualifications

Millwright – Aliwal North Mill

Responsibilities

Job Overview:

To electrically and mechanically maintain site machinery. To do planned and preventative maintenance.

Dismantle, fit & assemble machinery and parts

Execute pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs

Execute and enhance scheduled maintenance while assisting with equipment installations and repairs

Fit, inspect, test and repair MCC, circuits & wiring systems and electrical equipment

Use, install and apply fault finding on programmable logical control circuits (PLC’s)

Install and commission machinery and equipmentQualifications

Responsibilities

Job Overview:To load flour & bran into tankers/trucks.

  • Assisted Miller with maintenance at plantsifters, filters and
  • conveyors
  • Performed all other duties assigned by Miller
  • Prepared moisture and quality reports and control sheets when required

Artisan: Fitter – Prospecton Plant Snacks

Responsibilities

Job Overview:The main purpose is primarily to ensure maximum plant availability through effective preventative and planned maintenance and will accordingly attend to all breakdowns, diagnose (using different problem-solving techniques) and conduct the necessary repairs and mechanical modifications and sign off work done as meeting required standards.

Conducts diagnosis of equipment failures

  • Works with and through technicians and other employees to establish mechanical and equipment performance before breakdowns were reported
  • Establishes whether the equipment breakdown is related to a missed planned maintenance or part failure or human interference
  • Uses any of the problem (finding and) solving techniques like 5-Whys, RCA, decision trees etc. to pinpoint the real problem behind failures/breakdowns
  • Completes job card in consultation with the maintenance planner and requisitions a part or modifies mechanical parts depending on the outcome of the above

Conducts preventative maintenance

  • Performs defined and/or ad hoc condition monitoring on mechanical equipment
  • Completes documentation relating to work done for future reference in the event of failures
  • May replace parts in the event of noted probable failures to ensure continuous equipment running
  • Continuous reference to equipment drawings, engineering standards and GMPs in the performance and closing out of jobs done

Planned Maintenance

  • Ensures that scheduled maintenance in terms of Engineering plans is conducted as prescribed following defined protocols and compliance to GMPs
  • Ensures that machined spares are available as and when required and shall schedule time to execute this one
  • Completes job cards and parts requisition documents timeously to improve on mean time to repair thus ensuring high plant availability

Plant Breakdowns

  • Attends to all mechanical plant breakdowns following or informed by diagnosis conducted under point 1 above
  • In the event of mechanical modifications, follows defined procedures in updating relevant documentation and equipment records
  • Proactively escalates equipment problems to ensure minimal time stoppages
  • Maintains IPS standards on the respective lines
  • Clearly demarcates workstation in accordance with procedures in the event of major work to minimise disruptions and possible injuries as a result of human traffic and area being used as thoroughfare
  • Adheres to AIB and relevant food safety programs and environmental protocols

Qualifications

  • Qualified Trade Tested Fitter
  • Minimum N3 Engineering qualification
  • Minimum 3 years post trade test experience within a manufacturing environment

Clerk General III – Worcester Bakery

Responsibilities

Job Overview:Capturing of driver recons.

  • Filing of invoices and the follow up of outstanding invoices
  • IDC outstanding balances
  • Correct capturing of recons, invoices and credits
  • Compiling of weekly and monthly driver shorts reports

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • 3 years relevant experience within recon environment
  • Good computer skills
  • Good clerical skills
