While the need for resilient supply chains has been a consistent rallying cry over the past year, resiliency does not happen on its own. Reflecting on the importance of supply chain transformation the SAP Digital Supply Chain Line of Business supports our customers around the world to build and operate Resilient Supply Chains across the Design to Operate portfolio of solutions. The Solutions Sales Specialist role will be expected to engage with Customer C-level representatives to help & enable their customers’ to invest in, adopt and consume these solutions.
Solution Sales:
The primary purpose of Product Sales is to push selected strategic / new solutions. The scope of activities spans from business development and hunting of opportunities across a given market, to closing of sales cycles with existing and new customers. The SSE will have a strong functional and product expertise which will complement the AE activity on the account.
Core tasks include:
- Generate opportunities through leverage of lead generation campaign within prospects and existing customers.
- Leverage telesales (if applicable) to create demand generation.
- Align closely with AE when prospecting into existing accounts and when initiating the engagement within account.
- Supports the AE in building strong customer relationships.
- Take full ownership of opportunity, drive teamwork with presales expert, Implementation consultants and partners.
- Identify, pursue and close sales opportunities.
- Maintain an accurate and documented CRM pipeline of opportunities, on a timely basis.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
The primary purpose of the Solution Sales Executive is to achieve their overall revenue goal. In order to achieve this goal, the Solution Sales Executive Expert must create a complete territory business plan that generates at least 4x their quota in pipeline opportunity. The Solution Sales Executive Expert is responsible to identify and qualify opportunities, develop and drive strategy.
The Solution Sales Executive will develop an opportunity plan containing the value proposition SAP’s Digital Supply Chain solutions to potential customers & prospects in that territory. It is expected that the Solution Sales Executive be adept at creating and nurturing senior executive relationships on their own, while positioning the SAP executive team. In that capacity:
- Works with the Sales Manager and team to develop and execute programs to drive pipeline & close deals
- Works with the Regional VAT to educate target accounts on the solution set and conducts account planning for strategic deals
- Works to uncover and run large sales cycles based opportunities as directed by the Regional Sales Lead
- Works with VAT team on sales campaigns
- Leads efforts to establish, develop, and expand market share and revenue attainment within named accounts
- Works to attain various sales objectives related to securing new business opportunities within named customers
- Develops sales best practices securing repeatable and expansive opportunities across named accounts
Experience & Language Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience selling business software and/or IT solutions
- Experience selling to CXOs
- Proven track record in target achievement
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Business / Engineering or Technology)
- Professional Training & Certification
- Completion of Sales Methodology training preferred

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The S/4HANA Senior Finance Consultant will act as trusted partner to our customers on their journey to the cloud, from scoping and planning of the initial deployment to continuous value engineering. The Senior consultant role requires deep understanding of the cloud business model, the ERP processes across functional borders, as well as a service-oriented attitude with the aim to achieve customer delight.
EXPECTATION AND TASKS
As SAP Premium Hub Center of Expertise (CoE) consultant, you will support EMEA customers on their SAP S/4HANA adoption projects; as well as live customers that need to optimize business process, monitor operations, upgrade existing systems, etc., through the support from SAP Premium Engagement services.
The CoE Senior S/4HANA Finance Consultant must be able to accompany customers executing S/4HANA implementation projects with SAP Partners, or SAP led. The Consultant will provide guidance and support across all SAP Activate phases to ensure a successful S/4HANA implementation project
Your role involves delivery of technical and application services within customer engagements. You need excellent SAP Finance Software skills, and you are a decent problem solver with the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment. According to your experience, strengths and customer needs, you will conduct some of the following tasks:
- Prepare, design, realize and support Go-Lives for customer implementation projects
- Support feasibility studies and process design reviews
- Detailed planning of process implementation
- Detailed blueprinting for development requirements

- Support customer to address issues reported during Run and operation phases.
- Support business processes continuous improvement once customer is operating S/4HANA.
MANDATORY SKILLS
In addition to a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance or related discipline, and a minimum of 10+ years’ progressive experience, the successful candidate will possess:
- Good Communication skills
- Delivery experience in agile methodology (e.g. SAP Activate)
- Experience in Change and Value Management and Realization
- Consulting delivery skills (hands-on & project management)
- Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change.
- Acts as a Senior Trusted Advisor to the customer’s Finance department, covering the entire company of a big/complex, multinational Finance Processes end-to-end
- Certifications in S/4HANA Finance or S/4HANA Architecture are a must
- Defines Finance Strategies, Governance and Finance Process Architecture based on state-of-the art of S4HANA Cloud – On premise Finance technology
- Defines the strategic, conceptual, and technical boundaries for the design of the SAP S4HANA Finance processes, supporting the accounting principles and localizations solutions required by the customer. Can address the organization as well as the procedures of customers’ Finance departments with a focus on high efficiency, stability and performance.
- Cross industry experience
- Strong writing, mentoring, decision making, communication, and meeting facilitation skills; ability to utilize a combination of formal authority and persuasion skill sets.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience; competence in clear concise and tactful communication with senior executive management, clients, peers and team members.
- Professional Experience

The Cloud Architect acts as a primary point of contact for all technical topics from customer perspective and is working closely with all the other internal teams.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
This is a customer facing role where you will support the sales teams during the entire cycle of a Cloud deal. Following are the key tasks that this role will perform:
- Present in detail technical and operational aspects of the RISE with SAP Private Cloud.
- Present the requirements and value proposition for SAP private cloud on hyperscalers like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Conduct technical assessment workshops with customers to define the future cloud architecture and plan the migration roadmap together with partners, System Integrators, and or SAP Professional Services.
- Guide customers on non-functional capabilities such Business Continuity, Cybersecurity & Compliance, Networking, Technical Operations, and service consumption.
- Work with other teams within the Customer success board area to generate pricing and provide ongoing deal support to sales teams.
- Own the technical discussions with the customer and act as the orchestrator of experts to obtain expertise from the SAP delivery organization as required.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Business Administration required from an accredited university.
- High proficiency in customer communications and presentations is required.
- High proficiency in the SAP product portfolio, offerings, and industry solutions.
- Good understanding of SAP solutions (releases, platform interdependencies etc.).
- Good understanding of operational aspects (Application and Technical) of SAP solutions in a cloud environment.
- Good understanding of capabilities of at least one Hyperscaler (AWS; MS Azure or GCP).
- Ability and willingness to be part of a global team of Cloud Architects.
- Willingness to undertake customer related travel on short notice.
- Fluency in English is a MUST, other language(s) will be an asset.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years of customer facing SAP Consulting experience.
- 8+ years of solution design, enterprise architecture and or SAP implementation.
- Experience in a customer facing pre-sales role is an advantage.
- Experience and/or certification(s) with IaaS Providers (AWS, MS Azure or GCP) and data centres is a big advantage.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance expertise.
- SAP Application Lifecycle Management and or SAP Operations.
- ITSM, Service Design & Delivery.
- SAP HANA and S/4 HANA skills would be very helpful.

The Account Executive’s primary responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new business to existing and net new customers. What You’ll Do
As an Account Executive within the SAP Academy for Customer Success, you will be responsible for the following:
- Successfully complete a 10-month learn-apply program, which includes classroom phases and field phases with your sales team, that enhances your support in the role and is a critical customer-facing function within our Customer Success Board Area.
- Immerse yourself in multi-dimensional, experiential learning focusing on digital transformation, global intelligence, human skills, business and technology acumen, solution/industry knowledge, and strategy/tools/process.
- Learn how to drive value across the customer lifecycle through solution adoption and ongoing renewals that foster account expansion.
- Receive onboarding in your local market with on-the-job training and mentoring by a Senior Account Executive in the field. You will be able to work both behind the scenes and directly with customers.
The program will enrich your knowledge of SAP and the Customer Success board area and give you professional experience so that you can be ready to serve our customers. We offer full-time employment from day one with practical learning applications for your role. Upon successful completion of the program, you will move into a direct customer-facing sales role in your market and continue to receive mentoring and coaching support to accelerate your growth.

SSE focus areas:
- SAP Finance & Spend Management (F&S) – Knowledge in key areas such as accounting, procurement, and supplier management, focused on boosting visibility, cutting costs, and improving efficiency. (Accounting, finance, quote-to-cash, procurement, supplier management)
What You Bring
- 2–3 years of professional experience in a quota-carrying sales environment in a technology company OR in a role with significant exposure to business processes.
- Experience generating opportunities, qualifying leads, and managing sales pipelines across a defined territory with a proven track record of building customer relationships and articulating value propositions.
- A cooperative and productive approach to working relationships, internally and externally.
- A strong ability to quickly learn new concepts, adapt to changing environments, and apply knowledge to deliver results.

SAP’s employees across different regions are enabled to do their best job with the right mix of office and remote work according to country-specific guidelines and regulations. In general, our hybrid work setup consists of three days a week in the office or on-site with customers or partners.
We are planning a practical and immersive portion of our program, which will likely involve participants spending four (4) weeks, spread across two trips, in San Ramon, California. This experience is designed to provide unparalleled hands-on learning and networking opportunities. *Please note the in-person component is still in the planning phase, and the final decision will be confirmed by the first quarter of 2026. We will ensure that this information is communicated promptly, and that sufficient time is provided for necessary preparations.
During intensive phases of the program, it is critical that all participants are fully engaged and present to ensure maximum learning and success. As such, vacation will not be approved during some critical times of the program.
