Experience Required
Legal
More than 15 years
Proven experience in providing expert insight & guidance in the management of legal risk & drafting, vetting, review, dissemination and or negotiation of legal documents and processes of a highly complex & ambiguous nature. Development of legal strategy and leadership of a legal team/function. Identification and mitigation of legal risks in instable environments. 15 years’ experience within legal and the financial sector at a senior legal manager/counsel level, with 10 years’ experience in corporate transactions.

Job Description

To originate, assess and evaluate lending applications for Corporate Investment Banking clients based on sound credit risk and affordability assessments, financial principles and credit policies to achieve targeted asset book growth while optimising losses and effectively mitigating credit risks.  To ensure lending is within Bank’s Risk Appetite parameters. Support business partners in understanding and solutioning to meeting client lending needs, as appropriate for the Corporate Investment Banking client segment

Senior Credit Manager

Job Description

To manage a portfolio of counterparty credit risks associated with lending, trading, and investing activities, with the primary objective of assessing and managing risk within acceptable parameters as well as manager a team of other Credit Analysts.

Well developed knowledge of financial markets, global economy and appropriate regional geographies in which portfolio operates.

Good understanding of vanilla lending and derivative products and facilities that give rise to counterparty credit risks, including the documentation required/presented to manage that risk.

Thorough conceptual and practical knowledge of credit procedures,policies and standards, as well as a thorough understanding of products and facilities that give rise to counterparty credit risk. Understanding of Basel and broader regulatory and compliance requirements.
