Job Purpose• To organize community art education and cultural activities in eThekwini Region in order to contribute to an efficient and effective cultural sector.
Key Responsibility Areas• Undertakes arts education and development in the community.
• Responsible for creating economic opportunities for the community.
• Assists with development of cultural heritage and conducts community outreach
• Participates in special projects around moral regeneration and social integration such as
• refugees and immigration, religious and harmony.
• Facilitates and undertakes training with local artists and rejuvenation of township tourism.
• Participates in structured departmental group activities.

Preferred Requirements• Degree (NQF Level 7) or equivalent in the Humanities field Performing Arts or Arts or Social Science or Language etc.
• 4 years relevant experience within the arts environment.

Job PurposePlanning, leading and implementing Enterprise Risk Management framework and processes and provide strategic and operational advisory services on Risk Management issues, including best practices and strategies to improve the Municipality’s overall risk management maturity.
This post reports to SENIOR MANAGER (ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT)
Key Responsibility Areas• Supporting management in implementing all aspects of the risk function.
• Supports the assigned business units/ programmes in the identification of new/emerging areas of risk or significant changes in risk profile and recommend courses of action.
• Provide management support with respect to managing category risks.
• Create and embed a risk aware culture.
• Provide continuous support on implementation of category risk strategies, frameworks and guidelines.
• Ensure that the internal control environment of client business unit is conducive to effective, efficient, economical and equitable service delivery.
• Advance the risk management profession within local government by participating in internal and external forums.
• Provide support and counsel to Senior Management within the risk management department.
• Assist business units to identify and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs)
• Support Units by assisting risk champions and facilitating risk management discussions.

• 6 years relevant experience including auditing experience.
